Milton F. Meyers worked as a Traffic Manager for Jackson Brewing Company in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was a devoted employee for twenty-two years and in the mid 1970's when Jackson Brewing Company closed its doors; Milton was the Brewery's last employee in charge of phasing out the company and selling all remaining equipment. The dwindling brewery led to new opportunities for the Meyers Family and gave birth to a small family-owned and operated warehouse, Meyers Warehouse Inc. Milton and Clovina Meyers began warehousing in a small 20,000 square foot building and have worked to develop this family business over the past 34 years with a total storage capacity exceeding 195,000 square feet, a three acre container yard and a growing fleet for transportation services. Our family name is one of our most treasured assets, and we believe that it is exactly what propels the success of our business. Meyers has provided high-quality food grade warehousing and trucking services to corporations throughout the United States. Although Meyers has expanded beyond family members, it still thrives as a "family business"-taking the time to learn each customer's ever-changing needs and ensuring that those needs are met. Meyers prides itself on the accessible, adaptable, amicable and affordable services it delivers to each customer.
